I finally had to take photos the final day. The breakfast they offered was a joke all 4 days. I had minor issues with the keys not working on 2 of the 3 days but that's happened before. The day I arrived I wanted to make it clear that I wanted to not change rooms after the 3rd day and they agreed. The answer after 45 minutes on the phone with them: Make a new reservation for one day. He said he had no ability to simply add one more day to my existing reservation. The person I talked to from the IHG website said that I couldn't make a change to the reservation because it had been more than 24 hours past the ”cancellation date” and I would end up having to pay for the entire stay if I cancelled that reservation and made a new one with 4 days. Two days later I needed to add one more day. The price was nearly 3 times what it had been a year earlier. First, I made my 3 day reservation two weeks in advance online through IHG like normal. I had to make a trip to help with a family health issue. After many happy visits there my last visit was unacceptable in every way. This has been my go to hotel for several years now while visiting my family in Yucaipa.
